Sockets, Ratchets and Sets

This MILWAUKEE® Combo Kit features a 90-tooth ratchet tool that provides 4° of arc swing and a slim profile for work in tighter spaces. The ratchet and socket set has FOUR FLAT™ Sides that are anti-roll and wrench-ready with sizes stamped into each socket for easy-to-read visibility. Both the SAE & Metric 56-piece 3/8 in. and 50-piece 1/4 in. Drive Ratchet and Socket Sets can be kept organized in the included PACKOUT™ Compact Low-Profile Organizer with a clear top for easy identification of parts at a glance. The Low-Profile Organizer is part of the Milwaukee PACKOUT™ Modular Storage System, allowing for customization of storage systems to easily transport and organize tools and accessories. This Milwaukee Combo Kit includes a 106 total pieces - a 56 Piece 3/8 in. Drive Ratchet and Socket Set (48-22-9008), a 50 Piece 1/4 in. Drive Ratchet and Socket Set (48-22-9004), and a PACKOUT™ Compact Low-Profile Organizer (48-22-8431).

Retaining rings are used to help secure sockets onto drive tools. They are not intended to bear any load. The rotational forces are between the drive tool and the socket. Designed with a resin crush gauge to help identify when to replace worn sockets. The resin crush gauge on the pin helps indicate when a socket is excessively worn and should be replaced. Drive tool and socket should line up when in use and should not pinch the crush gauge. Cracked sockets and or worn drive tools cause each other to turn excessively in relation to each other. This action pinches the small fin or the crush gauge on these retaining rings. If the crush gauge is pinched, it is an indication that the socket and or the drive tool need to be replaced. One piece construction, no loose parts. Pin is made of resin which allows the material to compress without breaking.
